MULTI-AWARD winning MNM Developments (Scot) Ltd is a family run firm of developers, specialising in luxury apartment developments in Edinburgh
and the Lothians. The company has secured a number of prestigious awards in its short life, including being named Best Apartment Development Firm in the UK 2018 M&A Global Awards for its Marionville develop- ment at Meadowbank in Edinburgh.
Its current development, The Market,
in Bonnyrigg, has been shortlisted as a finalist for Starter Home of The Year at the 2020 Scottish Home Awards. Marionville, in Meadowbank, Edinburgh, and Jordan Lane, also in the capital, were shortlisted in these same awards in 2019, with MNM Developments going on to become a finalist for Housebuilder of the Year.
Marionville brought 51 two and three-bed- room apartments and penthouses, in a striking architectural style, to the market, selling extremely well to downsizers in the area, attracted by the outside space and security of the high specification apartments and penthouses.
A first foray into the Midlothian marketplace, The Market offers 14 contemporary new homes set around a beautifully landscaped courtyard, and is clearly bringing well priced, desirable new housing to Bonnyrigg. With five already sold, the remaining properties start at £215,995 for a luxury two bedroom ground floor apartment with en-suite.
Layout wise, the development follows on with the housebuilder’s signature style for spacious, open plan living, with large windows throughout to offer light filled rooms.
Three bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses can also be found at The Market, priced from £299,995. Each has its own large private garden. Stylish and highly practical modern homes, these properties have large living/dining rooms with a separate

A downstairs cloakroom is also included, along with three separate storage cupboards. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two of which have fitted wardrobes, with
the master bedroom en-suite. An additional bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor.
MNM always ensures a high specification, with all properties at The Market featuring luxury fitted kitchens with built in Indesit appliances, quality flooring throughout, quality doors & skirtings, fitted wardrobes, and beau- tifully designed bathrooms and en-suites. A designated car parking space is also provided with each property.
Constructed using eco friendly materials, The Market provides buyers with homes that will offer them reduced running costs.
“Here at MNM Developments, our mission is to create fantastic developments which tick all the boxes for our clients in terms of price, design, specifications and location,” said Company Director Michaela Teague.
“Now on our sixth development, and breaking intro Midlothian, we believe we are establishing a house style for MNM. We stand for quality in the industry, and although we are a young firm headed up by young people, we have a wealth of expertise and heritage in this industry to draw on. To consistently
achieve our aims and maintain a track record for luxury, contemporary developments, we stick to a group of trusted suppliers, including architects, Hackland + DORE, and a number of reliable contractors and tradesmen employed direct.”
With staff all working towards achieving a mission of overall success and exceeding expectations in various aspects of business, Michaela takes time to tell us about the internal culture within MNM, and discusses how the close-knit family feel ensures that the team work together to achieve success.
“Here at MNM, we are a very small strong team, a family business, headed up by myself and my two brothers. Our father, who used to run the successful brand alongside his brothers, Teague Homes UK, supports us as our advisor, but is not directly involved in the business as we wanted to make our own way, and not use the Teague family name directly. We have been very successful so far and are delighted with the reputation we are establishing,” said Michaela.
“As we are all from Edinburgh and know the city and its environs well, it is the perfect place for us to be based and to build in. We know the locations to go for and where there is likely to be most demand for our product,” she added.
Looking ahead, Michaela predicts that technology will become increasingly essential to many property firms’ business, and she explains that MNM are already streets ahead in terms of upcoming advances which will affect the industry.
“Moving forward, there will be more tech- nology used in new developments as part of the existing specifications, which is something we already embrace; as well as a greater use of eco-efficient materials.
“Again, we are already on board with this,” she said. n
